The Opportunity:
The sustainability accounting worldwide market is experiencing tremendous growth due to the fact that every industry globally will be required to comply with sustainability targets integrated with their financial accounting practices and reports.
ECO-OS provides an enterprise-grade, SaaS-based comprehensive software solution that delivers a full range of sustainability value-creating accounting & intelligence capabilities. We are looking to add a Senior CSRD Project Manager to our growing team.
What will you do?
You will lead the implementation of the ECO-OS solution with our international clients, including the European Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This will include customizing the system to ensure compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), assisting clients with training, identifying gaps, developing optimal procedures and controls and integrating solutions into their implementation roadmap.
The ideal candidate will be a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual, responsible for engaging with a large number of users and managing large sets of data, ensuring its accuracy, maintaining its integrity, and utilizing the data to develop insights and recommendations to inform regulatory disclosure and business strategy. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and will be responsible for managing workflows, deliverables, and setting deadlines.
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and drive impactful sustainability initiatives with international customers and shape the future of our clients’ Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) project.
Demonstrate and enhance your expertise in project management, data analysis, sustainability accounting and reporting through impactful sustainability reports and insights.
Work with a dynamic team and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and industry experts.
Manage large sets of data and ensure its accuracy and integrity across multiple sources.
Develop and maintain data management processes to ensure data consistency and quality.
Analyze data and provide insights to inform business decisions and strategy.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to identify key data needs and requirements.
Create detailed reports, data visualizations, and dashboards to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
Continuously monitor and update data sources to ensure the most up-to-date information is being utilized.
Apply statistical and data mining techniques to identify trends and patterns in complex data sets.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Financial Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Science or related fields, with experience in project delivery and data analytics.
At least 3 years commercial experience in a Project Management, PMO, Financial Accounting or Business Analysis positions.
Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to effectively communicate data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Prior experience in sustainability programs and knowledge of sustainability-related regulations is a plus but passion is essential.
Proven ability to lead projects and drive change.
Formal Financial Accounting or Project Management qualification is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manipulate and interpret large data sets.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
